Julianne Ahn is the founder of Object & Totem, a Brooklyn based studio that produces modern ceramics for the home.

Julianne’s work is inspired by everyday objects and is designed to exist dynamically, altering in the context of its use. Each piece is built using simple geometric shapes enhanced by subtle details that establish function and presence. Her process draws on the material vulnerability of clay; its ability to be formed and retain memory, and its expression of the nuances of ritual.
