Radnor is seeking a New York based Trade Sales Representative to join our team. The Trade Sales Representative will work between the Radnor Studio and each experiential Showroom Space directly liaising with our architecture, interior design, private and contract clients.
Responsible for both inside and outside sales, our Trade Sales Representatives are highly-motivated individuals, interested in working in the fast pace of a growing company. Working closely with the support of the Radnor team, the Trade Sales Representative acts as a key Brand Ambassador responsible for achieving designated sales targets, maintaining current trade relationships and growing Radnor’s clientele base.
Duties:
Account + client management from inception to closing
Cultivating, documenting, and maintaining client relationships for inside and outside client growth
Manages a weekly calendar for existing and new client meetings + showroom visits, coordinating with the Radnor Calendar
Works to reach monthly sales targets and outreach goals as designated by management.
Oversee day to day operations for Radnor Showroom
Creates and prepares presentations for client meetings
Oversee day to day operations for Radnor Showroom
Works to gain knowledge of material and the processes of making through various mediums.
Assist with sales initiatives and events as assigned by management
Required Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfort and ease when speaking publicly, making new sales calls and presenting with our trade client community
The ability to work independently and collaboratively on important projects.
A warm detail-oriented person with the ability to cultivate and maintain client relationships
3+ experience in working in customer-facing sales roles. Ideally, with the Trade
Keen knowledge and understanding of the Trade business, and awareness of key firms in the industry
Highly organized and able to manage multiple client relationships during the order process.
A solution-based thinker with the ability to remain calm, pragmatic, and logical when urgent client issues arise.
Strong aesthetic and presentation skillset.
Must be able to work well under pressure managing multiple deadlines and maintaining a positive attitude
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Computer Skills and experience in MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (In Design, Illustrator + Photoshop), High-Rise, QuickBooks, G Drive and NetSuite.
